It was a week filled with some glorious moments as our Amazons; Oluwatobiloba Amusan and Ese Brume reached some enviable heights at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon, USA.
Amusan became the first to shatter the African record and the world record on the same day and also went ahead to win Nigeria’s first ever gold in the 100 metres hurdles event.
Brume also saved the best for the last as she claimed a silver medal for the country in the long jump.
