Yucateco Boxing League Finale: Race For MVB Crown Heightened

The battle for the Most Valuable Boxer (MVB) crown has intensified as hostilities begins today in the grand-finale of the Yucateco boxing league. The first of its kind Olympic style boxing event will hold at the newly unveiled Yucateco Arena in Okesopin Ijebu-Igbo,Ogun state. 

As the respective clubs aim for the ultimate prize, the projection for some pugilists is to emerged as the tournament MVB. The battle for this elusive honor is now a fixation for some pugilists. 

At this point, all eyes are on these guys with outstanding scorecards. 

David Akintola. 75kg WBC-ABU Olympic style champion. He extols himself with an outstanding record of 9 wins, 2 KOs, with just a single defeat from 10 bouts. The highly skilful boxers has secured (44) bouts points this season. 

If you are a boxing fan, you sure want to be at the ring side when this boy is is action. Joshua Daniel Adjarho.The 71kg Yucateco Pan-African champion  prides himself with an 100% record in 10 win, 2 KOs, and 49pts from 10 bouts.  


Another frontline contender is 63.5kg Abdulramon Abdulwahab. He's last Season’s Most Valuable Boxer, and  Yucateco Pan-African tittle holder. Omo' London as he's nicknamed by his fans holds an impressive 100% record with 10 wins, 3 KOs, and 49pts in 10 bouts. 

Abdulwahab will square up against Riliwan Salawu of Akil boxing club in the Yucateco Showdown Series Main event on Sunday June 29th at Bintol Hotel In Sagamu Ogun state.
