Spires 5-Aside Divisional Qualifiers: Wasola FC, Blood And Sand To Battle For Top Spot In Ikeja

The divisional qualifiers of the Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament season which kicks-off with hostilities in the Ikeja division has reached its final phase after several pulsating fixtures.
Eight (8) accredited teams featured in the qualifiers which is expected to produce the best three teams to represent the Ikeja division at the sixteen (16) teams tournament later in the year.
On route to the final Alabi, Ebube, and Papa were on the scoresheet for Blood and Sand FC who defeated Soccergems FA 3-1 in the Semi-final played on Wednesday. Milo got the only goal for Soccergems. The other semifinal was a seven (7) goal thriller that saw Wasola FC secure a 5-2 victory over Amsterdam FA.
The stage is now set for the grand finale between Wasola FC and Blood and Sand football club on Saturday April 26th at the EL Cesped pitch - Victoria Odeniran Street Salvation Road , Opebi, Ikeja. Amsterdam FA and Soccergems will Kickstart the days hostilities in the third place Match by 12:pm with the last qualifying spot at stake. Wasola football club and Blood and Sand FC have secured the top 2 spot by virtue of their place in the final.
Forty Teams across the five diversions in Lagos will compete in the divisional qualifiers of the 2025 Spires 5-Aside Naija Street Soccer Tournament.
The winner of the 16 teams tournament will receive a prize money of N10million among other benefits.
